Boston adventures

So much fun packed into one week! Our plans changed at the last minute due to Bob's biking boo-boo and we were undecided on whether we should go ahead to the east coast or not. The boys and I decided to take our chances and go to Boston without Penelope or a plan of any kind. Lucky for us "uncle" Steve and his crew stepped up. We stayed at Steve's folks house south of Boston and Steve, Katie, Nicole and Ronan showed us the area. We went to Plymouth Plantation to learn about the Wampanoag and pilgrims, on a great pirate cruise, to the beach for a day of boogie boarding, to the children's museum, to Quincy Market with street performers and on a duckboat tour of the Freedom Trail and Charles River. We ate fantastic seafood and swam in the pool several times a day. I love how this unplanned adventure worked out! We are now on a train headed to Washington DC to see what the next week has in store! The pics of the boys driving are from the duckboat tour where both boys got to drive up the Charles River. The cutie pie in the car seat is Ronan.
